The Power of Music in Fighting Cancer

It has been a summer I was not expecting.  In May, I was informed that I had a rectal tumor.  Thankfully, it was caught early, and the cure rate is high.  From mid-June to late July, my treatments consisted of 28 radiation sessions and 208 chemo pills.  I was able to handle the treatments pretty well.  A couple of weeks ago I received word that the tumor was gone!!!  Next Tuesday I will have a quick surgical procedure to clean up a little bit of residue on the rectal wall.

While going through treatments, I continued to play shows.  The pure joy I experienced, still being able to do what I love to do despite my illness, lifted me up to fight each day.  Nothing like the power of music!

More shows for 2026 coming, and I will be making a big effort to do more shows in 2027 that I have ever done before.  And, yes, there will be a new album, my 8th!!!

Thank you so much for your support!
